Who is Cutie Pie Therapy?

Ilana Segal M.S. OTR/L

Cutie Pie Therapy was created by Occupational Therapist Ilana Segal. Ilana had a dream to create a community for people who wanted to learn more about how to help their child navigate the difficulties of sensory processing and the world around them. Ilana believes in accessible resources, for everyone no matter where they live, what they look like, or how much money they make. This website was created for parents and children to find fun ideas to use if they may not have access to an OT, or other therapies, as well as for information/resources for families if their child is having difficulty navigating their daily life and don’t know who to ask for help.

Ilana is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson University with her Masters in Occupational Therapy in 2012. She also received her bachelor’s degree in rehab services from Penn State University in 2009. Ilana has been practicing OT in the early intervention setting for about 8 years. She has specific knowledge in sensory integration (learning from Dr. Rosanne Schaff), as well as feeding therapy. Ilana has worked primarily with children diagnosed with ASD, as well as children diagnosed with Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy, prader willi, developmental delay, and ADHD.
